One Hot Kerplunk!!! July the 23rd

Everyone survived the heat today, making some cool art. Today our project was the Little Big Show. We checked out all the great artwork in the Big Show, and chose or favorites. Then we made our own show, but mini. I think next year the two shows should be together because our mini art gallery's turned out great. Just check them out yourself!

Kerplunk! July 16

At this past week's Kerplunk! class, families did a scavenger hunt in The Big Show exhibit. They searched for everything from flamingos to roses to abstract art to photographs. After they'd fully explored the art work, they decorated picture frames for their own beautiful art work! Take a look at some of the examples. Hope to see you next week!

Get Ready! Kerplunk! is Coming...

Kerplunk! Family Drop-In Art Class at the Creative Alliance
5 Saturdays: July 9-Aug 6, Noon-3pm
FREE

Looking for something interesting, new, and family-fun for the weekend? You must stop by the Creative Alliance for our drop in family art class Kerplunk! We have five Saturday classes each season from noon to 3:00. Every week we do an art project based on the current exhibition. For the summer session The Big Show exhibition will be in our main gallery. This is diverse group of work created by our Creative Alliance members. Our project for that week will be to create a Mini Big Show. We will make our own mini gallery, to hang our mini made artwork!

We will do a project based on the most interesting and beautiful photographs by artist Thomas C. Scilipoti, 60 Years of Baltimore Photographs, show. You must stop by for our Draw It, Eat It, Wear It, class. To beat the Baltimore heat were going to be drawing some local fruit, then eating it of course, and decorating a pair of sunglasses. Were trying to keep, and be cool.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to come visit the wonderful Creative Alliance, this is it! Hope to see you there. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required!
